IN a week full of sporting achievements, the remarkable efforts from teenage swimmer Alicia Armstrong cannot be overlooked.
The leukaemia survivor represented Great Britain at the World Transport Games - and returned with five world titles and two silver medals to cap off a fantastic year for the inspirational 14-year-old from Hexham.
