COACHES from one of the world‘s biggest football clubs arrived in Hexham to launch an exciting new initiative for local youngsters.
Italian giants AC Milan have chosen Hexham FC’s Dukeshouse facility to host a junior soccer camp next summer, the deal a major coup for the Tyne Valley club as it will bring with it many benefits.
As well as getting expert coaching from Milan‘s professionals, two members of the Hexham camp will be chosen to take part in a special tournament in the world famous San Siro stadium.
Hexham chairman Doug Robson said: “As a community club, we want to promote the club and the town as much as possible and there are so many great opportunities with being linked to one of the biggest clubs in the world.”
