ON Wednesday evening, Ponteland United and Heddon St Andrew's battle it out to add their names to the illustrious winners' list of the Tynedale-only football competition, the Clayton Charity Cup. It is more than 50 years ago since a team from Heddon last won the cup in 1961, while a team from Ponteland has never won it. Here, we take a look at some of the past winners over the decades.
