Northern Alliance Bay Plastics Premier Division leaders Wallington are 12 points clear of nearest rivals AFC Newbiggin with nine games to play following a 5-2 win at Hebburn Town Reserves on Saturday, March 30.

The struggling hosts conceded in the first five minutes and soon afterwards lost keeper Max Campbell to injury with centre half Andy Marley taking his place between the sticks, Wallington's goals were scored by Andy Bell (4) and Jordan Nellis.

Their goals in a 4-0 home victory against Great Park were scored by Jayson Stafford (2), Shaun Anderson and David Mitchell.
