THE running track at Hexham's Wentworth Leisure Centre has been given a fresh new look.
The track has undergone a refurbishment, and has also become one of the first in the UK to be upgraded with new markings for relay races.
It is part of an investment in athletics facilities at Wentworth, which now has new equipment including steeplechase barriers and a high jump mat with a spike-proof cover.
