THE following planning applications have been submitted for consideration by Northumberland County Council.

Darras Hall: Mr Scott Savin, non-material amendment relating to planning permission 16/02942/FUL to allow the left hand side of the property to be brought forward by one metre, retaining the footprint size whilst enhancing the internal layout. The roof of the left hand side of the building will have a flat ridge, creating an additional bedroom within the roof space, which will be naturally lit through roof lights, 98 Western Way, ref. no: 17/00372/NONMAT.

Hexham: MRH Retail Ltd. Neil Jennings, proposed demolition of single storey workshop building to ground level to rear of petrol filling station, Dale Garage, Haugh Lane, ref. no:17/00321/DEMGDO. Mr Matthew Robson, proposed conversion of existing byre into farm worker’s cottage, Cross Ridge Farm, Wark, ref. no: 16/04590/AGTRES.

Ponteland: Mr Neil Taylor, tree preservation order application for 1) Sycamore fell tree for safety 2) Ash crown thinning by 30 per cent 3) Hawthorn fell 4) Sycamore fell 5) Leylandii hedge reduce height to approximately 8 meters, 53 Edge Hill, ref. no: 17/00344/FELTPO. Mrs Nabila Rani, variation of condition 3 (approved plans) from application 16/00804/FUL (proposed 2 storey extension to form garages with bedroom over; portico and entrance canopy; enlarged driveway with entrance gates and piers and internal alterations), 160 Runnymede Road, ref. no: 17/00280/VARYCO.

Prudhoe: Miss Kay Jobling, proposed change of use from open space to private garden, 28 Moorlands, ref. no:17/00401/COU.
