EUROPE’S biggest canoe meeting brought hundreds of watersports enthusiasts to Hexham at the weekend. The annual Tyne Tour, organised by Hexham Canoe Club, attracted people from all over the country on Saturday and Sunday. Most of them stayed under canvas at a makeshift campsite created for the occasion at Tyne Green.
