AN impressive collection of classic cars rolled into Tynedale last weekend.

Nearly 5,000 visitors descended on Tynedale Park in Corbridge to see the collection of over 900 cars.

Organised by MG Northumbria, there was a wide selection from pre-war cars and 1960s camper vans to rare motorcycles and commercial vehicles.

Show-goers also enjoyed music from local band Prelude as well as archery, a dog agility display and the North-East's only F1 simulator.

The money raised from the event is still being counted and will go towards the local community.

Tim Cook, chairman of MG Northumbria, said: "There was a great atmosphere on the day with the live music and other attractions.

"Each year it gets bigger and better and it has become a real family day out."
