PRUDHOE Town were denied a place in the Monkwearmouth Charity Cup final as they were eliminated in extra time.
Level with Sunderland West End at 1-1 after 90 minutes, they were gunned down by a late winner from substitute Barry Turton.
Defender Josh Brooks had cancelled out a goal by West's Keiron Martin, but were unable to find the killer goal to book their place in the final.
