PRUDHOE racers enjoyed a tip top time last weekend as the annual bogey race rattled through the town.
On Sunday, May 1 competitors assembled on the start line, at Prudhoe Town Football Club's ground at Kimberly Park, known locally as the ‘tip top’.
The race was preceded by a parade through Prudhoe, where home-made go-karts and matching colourful fancy dress efforts impressed on-lookers.
The event was held in support of local man, Andrew Newton who suffers from autism, so far £680 has been raised with more expected to come in.
And those who may have missed Sunday's colourful event will get another chance to see the bogeys as they have been invited to take part in the Prudhoe Town Fair Parade.
