RECORD numbers raced to Prudhoe's Highfield Fest last weekend.
The event, on Sunday, June 26, was the most popular yet with organisers extending the car park to accommodate the number of visitors.
Known locally as 'The Fest' the annual celebration of youth culture, started out as a small BMX event.
On Sunday the free event hosted a line-up of local bands, Jarrow-based team Override with BMX and scooter tips and tricks and a host of family-friendly fun.
