THE SKIES above Hexham were alive with light on Saturday night as the annual bonfire night spectacular set the town alight with fun.
The event has been organised and run by Hexham Round Table for decades and visitors flock from miles around to enjoy the dazzling display.
And this year 12,000 people poured onto the Sele park to watch the blazing bonfire and impressive fireworks display, by Kimbolton fireworks.
Entrance is free but around £20,000 was raised on the night, much of which will go to local charities and organisations.
