THE BEST of two counties joined forces to fill the fields at Gilsland Show on Sunday.
The historic agricultural show attracted competitors from Northumberland and Cumbria to its hotly contested livestock classes.
Away from the judging pens, crowds flocked to watch the traditional Cumberland and Westmorland Wrestling.
And those browsing the delights of the industrial tent were serenaded by the triumphant tones of Carlisle Silver Band.
