STUDENTS from Prudhoe Community High School are celebrating a record-breaking year for GCSE results.
Over 80 per cent of the year group achieved A*-C in both English and Maths, which are the best results in the school's history.
This was also the first time students were able to see the school's new state-of-the-art building.
Headteacher Deborah Reeman said she was "simply delighted".
See next week's Hexham Courant for a full report of GCSE results.
