I stopped and offered to help. Her car had lost drive, so I suggested she move on to the verge while I parked her car close to the verge.
I then moved my mini-bus further down to allow a clear passage for other vehicles, and left both vehicles with hazard lights flashing.
While I was doing this, a lady in a dark coloured Land Rover passed by blowing her horn!
The next vehicle to pass was a small hatchback driven by a lad at at least 60mph. He could have easily killed both of us.
Several other cars passed by without even slowing to ask if we were okay.
One driver did stop to ask if I needed help... I thanked him, he was probably one in 10!
I turned the bus around and dropped the lady off at a well known Allendale garage. I despair, how selfish and inconsiderate some people are.
