HCP is the development trust for the town supporting its physical, social and economic development. One of the principles underlying its very successful work is partnership development, HCP being the only body in the town bringing together residents, local authority members and most of the town’s key voluntary organisations.
This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in the body which runs the Forum cinema as a social enterprise, organises major events such as the Christmas Market and Spook Night, promotes the town as a visitor centre, co-ordinates work on arts and heritage and manages the Hexham East Regeneration Project as part of its ranage community development activities.
