SADLY, the Haltwhistle branch of the recycling centre reduces its working hours in line with others in the district.
With its imminent reduced hours, I would like to thank the staff for their help and support over the years. They readily assisted those of us struggling to dispose of waste and cheerfully pointed specific rubbish to the relevant skips.
It is such a shame that this facility is subject to cuts, Let's hope it does not lead to fly tipping.
