The sale will be full of excellent value plants that are suited to local conditions, so if you have gaps in your garden, come along with a large tray or shopping bag and grab some bargains!
THE Stocksfield Retired Men’s Association meets on Thursday. The meeting is at 10.30am in the Baptist Church Hall where Mr Malcolm Smith will give a talk entitled WW1 trench warfare.
Members are asked to assemble for coffee from 9.30am as usual. New members and visitors are always welcome.
ON Sunday, June 19, a home-made tea will be served in the beautiful garden of Aston Greys, 25 Cade Hill Road. Gates are open from pm to 6pm, with the last tea served at 5.15pm.
Visitors are welcome to stroll around the garden. Tickets are available in advance. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Mind.
