THANK you to all who supported the garden party on Sunday, August 2.
A magnificent £840 was raised for church funds, and by all accounts it was a splendid afternoon.
There is just one more opportunity this summer to enjoy the garden at 25 Cade Hill Road, on Sunday, August 16.
A fabulous afternoon tea will be served from 3pm, with the last serving at 5.15pm.
Proceeds from this event will go to Josie’s Dragonfly Trust. Tickets in advance from Philippa Harpin, telephone (01661) 842302, or on the gate.
THERE’S a real treat in store on Friday, August 21, in the community centre.
The talented young French folk singer/songwriter Farah Rigal will be performing, fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and supported by our own brilliant Stocksfield Stompers.
Farah’s music promises to be ‘French folk rock with a Moroccan twist’.
To reserve tickets, please email farahrigaltour@gmail.com
IF you have contributions for Stocksfield’s village notes, please email claredaltry@hotmail.co.uk or contact 07443 222887.
