POLICE are hunting for a flasher after a man indecently exposed himself to a mother and her child in Healey Woods.

At around 11.20am on Friday, June 9 police were alerted to the incident near Riding Mill.

The man is described as having a large build and was wearing a grey t-shirt and black shorts.

Police attended the scene but the man had already left.

An investigation has been launched and police are appealing for anyone who has seen the man in question to get in touch.
