Motorist rescued
A WOMAN was rescued from her car by fire fighters after a two vehicle crash on the A695 in Tynedale.
It happened shortly after 9am on Thursday morning between Stocksfield and Riding Mill when a Skoda car and VW Caddy van collided.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the female driver of the Skoda, who is thought to have suffered minor injuries, was freed from the car.
She was taken to hospital while the van driver was not injured.
