The funds raised for a new scout hut and community space at Guessburn have passed £145,000.
So far, fund-raising events have included sponsored walks and cycles, grants from local organisations and one former Scout, Stephen Harpin, rowed across the Atlantic to raise funds.
Group scout leader Malcolm Murray said the money would allow the second phase of construction.
Dr Murray said the group was still working to raise a further £30,000 to finish the groundworks and add a concrete ramp.
