TOMORROW, all profits from the sale of bread from the Artisan Community Bakery in the Falcon Centre, Wylam Library, will be donated to Wylam Institute. On sale from 9am until noon.
TOMORROW, at 10.30am, Jeanie Pollard’s Christmas fair in St Oswin’s Church hall will be in aid of the Joshua community in Malawi. Lovely African crafts for sale.
ON Thursday, December 3, at 2.30pm, Wylam Discussion Group’s Christmas “jolly” and beetle drive will be at Lynne Petrie’s. Please bring dice and something for a co-op tea.
FRIDAY, December 4, at 7.30pm, in Wylam Institute, there’s a ceilidh Christmas fund-raiser for Save the Children. Dancing to the Stocksfield Stompers, plus food. A few tickets are still available – ring 07766 882218. All are welcome.
SATURDAY, December 5, from 10am until 1pm, it’s the Wylam Community Christmas fair at Wylam Institute. Come and get your last minute Christmas gifts.
This is a community-inspired event with stalls from local crafts and charities, delicious cakes and bread, jewellery and glass, home furnishings, aromatherapy and beauty products, plus much, much more.
