BRAVE Kian Musgrove enjoyed some luxury treatment last weekend as he attended the live finals of the X-Factor at the invitation of Simon Cowell.

The Prudhoe youngster is battling the childhood cancer neuroblastoma for the second time.

Kian has been travelling back and forward to New York since July 2016, receiving pioneering immunotherapy – his only chance of survival.

But the costs of the treatment are astronomical.

So when Simon Cowell stepped in with a £25,000 donation, the family were beyond grateful.

Now, the music mogul’s has shown his generosity once again, treating Kian and his family to chauffeur driven cars, backstage passes and front row tickets.

Kian’s mum, Kat, said: “We got invited as Simon Cowell’s guests.

“He said we could come down and arranged transport, and we stayed in a beautiful hotel right next to the studios.

“We got to see the rehearsals and the live shows. We also got to go and see Simon’s dressing room!”

Kian, who now attends Prudhoe West Academy, will travel to America once again for his final round of treatment in January.

But his condition hasn’t prevented him from causing mischief.

“During the live show, Kian was with Simon and Simon was picking him up and giving him hugs,” Kat said.

“As the show was coming back on Kian jumped on Simon’s chair!

“The security man had to grab him so Simon was in the right place.

“Kian wasn’t impressed!”

Kian was just 18 months old when he was diagnosed in October 2013.

Despite 27 tumours throughout his body, Kian battled through - but the cancer returned just a year later.

Kat and the rest of Kian’s family have tirelessly fund-raised throughout Kian’s illness.

The family enjoyed front row seats during the finals and even made it on to the TV screens.
