PRUDHOE Golf Club Christmas fair will be in full swing from 2pm until 5pm tomorrow, at the clubhouse.

Stalls are still available and the stall fee includes a free glass of wine and a mince pie. Why not go along and pick up a Christmas bargain?

PRUDHOE will be busy tonight, as it always is when the town council puts on one of its spectacular events. Tonight it is the switching on of the Christmas lights, starting with a Christmas fair at the Spetchells Centre and a party on the Glade. Who wouldn’t want to be there? The switch on by the Minions is at 6pm.

AT THE U3A’s meeting in St Mary Magdalene’s Church hall, at 10am, on Monday, November 30, Geoff Hughes will give a talk on Christmas Celebrations around the World.

The U3A’s creative writing group has recently published a book called Lifelines, Thoughts and Words, which will be on sale at the meeting. It is also available to the general public and is an ideal stocking filler.

THE Fuse Media Centre is showing Spectre the new James Bond film with Daniel Craig. It is classified as a 12A film and is showing tonight (Friday, November 27) and tomorrow, (Saturday, November 28), at 7pm and on Sunday, November 29, at 3pm.
