The outline planning application for a 70,000 sq ft out-of-town retail park in Low Prudhoe was approved in November last year.
It will be located on two areas of land south of Princess Way and will comprise both food and non-food shops, a 60-bed hotel and two restaurants, one with a drive-through facility.
There will also be a petrol station and 435 parking spaces.
Director of Northumberland Estates Colin Barnes said the company was still in the process of attracting businesses to the premises.
“There’s a reasonably good level of interest and the response has been quite positive,” he said.
“We will be looking to submit our detailed plans soon.”
Mr Barnes said the plans for detailed planning and reserved matters were expected to be submitted for approval in October or November.
