A PRUDHOE man will be sentenced in May after admitting a knife-related incident at the J. D. Wetherspoon pub in Hexham.

Josh David Jackson (18) of Sandyford Avenue, Prudhoe, was charged with disorderly conduct and threatening a person with a bladed or pointed article in a public place, following the incident, on February 17.

He appeared at Newcastle Crown Court on Monday, having pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing. He will be sentenced on May 3.
