New look play areas at Highfield Park were unveiled last September.
The new junior and toddler play parks were installed after Prudhoe Town Council secured £80,000 of funding for the project.
But recently the town council has had to replace a £2,000 roundabout following an incident of vandalism.
The oyster roundabout has been paid for through an insurance claim, however the town council has paid £250 in excess.
