LAST Sunday, players, management and supporters of Heddon St Andrews FC were left really disappointed as they lost on penalties to Ryton Social FC in the second division cup final at Newburn.
Both teams were given great support by a number of residents, who felt nervous throughout the game as the score finished 2-2 prior to the penalty shootout.
Heddon St Andrews FC would like to thank everyone who attended the game on Sunday and will continue their aim to add more silverware to their collection after already winning the league and gaining promotion.
