RESIDENTS from a Prudhoe supported living scheme hosted an Easter fair for the whole community.

Those in attendance at The Manors Extra Care housing received a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny.

Organised by assistant manager Mark Pae, the fair had a variety of stalls in the residents’ lounge, a raffle and tombola which raised over £300 and a collection of wellbeing themed stalls in the day room. Treatments such as facials and massages were available alongside various information stalls, and entertainment was provided from a young local singer James Basset, who will be performing for the Queen at the Royal Albert Hall next month.

Mark also organised an Easter Egg hunt around the grounds of the building, where children could get the first chocolate of the holiday period.

Mark said: “We are really pleased with how the fair went this year. We had a lot of people through the doors, and all the stalls were doing good business.

“We must thank everyone who attended – and all the stallholders – for making it such a fun and successful event.”
