A TYNEDALE woman has been banned from driving for 12 months for drink driving.

Christina Crozier (38) of Wylam, appeared at Gateshead Magistrates Court last Thursday.

Crozier pleaded guilty to drink driving at the Team Valley Trading Estate, near Gateshead, on December 18 last year.

A breath test found she had 44 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.

Crozier will also have to pay a fine of £366, £85 prosecution costs and a £36 victim surcharge.

Her driving ban could be reduced if she undertakes an approved driving course.
