A POP-UP circus flooded a Prudhoe school’s field with colour this week as clowns, trapeze artists and magicians came to town.
A Big Top descended on Adderlane Academy’s school field on Tuesday as children and their parents and carers gathered for an afternoon of fun.
Spinning plates, hula hooping and glamorous assistants were all on the agenda, while the friendly clowns showed the children how they put their make-up in order to avoid any scares.
Headteacher Emma Potts said: “We have had a lot of summer fairs over the years but this year we wanted to do something different. To see the Big Top arriving was magical for the children and so exciting.”
