OLD and young Ovingham residents have been working together on a project to help their garden grow.
Children from Ovingham First School have been visiting residents at Wellburn House Care Home in Ovingham for a weekly gardening club.
Wellburn House administrator Aimee McCormack and activity co-ordinator Ellie Robson had the idea for the gardening club, which has been taking place on Wednesdays after school.
Each week has been focused on a different theme, and the aim has been for the elderly residents and local youngsters to share their knowledge about gardening and socialise with each other.
