Three members of the family will be staring in the show, with Jason Long playing the Dame, his son Matthew Long playing Wishee Washee and his daughter Amelia taking part as a member of the Youth Theatre, ‘Preppies’.
This could be slightly confusing for Matthew, whose dad will be playing his mum in the show!
A spokesman for the society said: “Come and join us for an evening of laughs, songs and entertainment!
“We have the Dame, we have the evil Abanazar, the beautiful Princess Lotus Blossom and many more to entertain you.”
The pantomime by Simon Sladen will run from Tuesday, November 22 to Saturday, November 26 at 7pm at the Memorial Hall on Darras Road, Ponteland.
There will also be a Saturday matinée at 2pm.
