The Care Quality Commission inspected White Medical Group on Meadowfield Industrial Estate, Ponteland, in April and was rated good overall.
Inspectors found the practice to be good in four out of five categories.
White Medical Group was rated on whether it was safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
The report said: “Staff have the skills, knowledge and experience to deliver effective care and treatment.
“Services were tailored to meet the needs of individuals and staff were committed to supporting patients to live healthier lives.”
However, the report did identify concerns about the management of medicines.
The report said: “There was a strong focus on, and commitment to, continuous learning and improvement, at all levels within the practice.”
