A NEW enclosure, home to a tropical species of parrot, received a grand opening at Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens.
The zoo’s rainbow lorikeets, a species of parrot originally found in Australia, were visited by Hexham’s MP Guy Opperman, who had a tour of the zoo before officially opening their enclosure.
