Police tape used to cordon off an incident
POLICE have carried out an investigation after a man was found dead on a golf course in Ponteland.
Northumbria Police said they were called to Ponteland Golf Club on Main Street at 9am on Monday morning, after the body of a man had been found.
Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said an investigation had been carried out and there was not believed to be any third party involvement.
A report has now been prepared for the coroner.
