PONTELAND High School pupil Brent March has received a prestigious accolade for his musical talents.
The Year 12 music student has been awarded Ponteland Young Musician of the Year by President of the Ponteland Rotary Club, Steve Cox.
A Music Prefect, Brent plays guitar within Ponteland High School, participating in the Jazz Band, school concerts and productions, as well as being an active performer outside of school.
He said: “I am delighted to be given this award and have my musical talents acknowledged in such a way.
"I am also looking forward to performing in the Rotary Club’s annual concert in October.”
