A PONTELAND-born author has donated copies of her best-selling book series to libraries in Hexham and across Northumberland.
LJ Ross, whose first name is Louise, is author of the DCI Ryan series, which follows the detective as he hunts down serial killers in the Northumberland landscape. All five novels are currently in Amazon’s top 100 best-sellers.
Louise said she was moved when a reader got in touch to tell her how much she loved her books, but that there were lots of fans hoping to borrow the novels from their local library who could not get hold of them.
She has now donated copies of the series to libraries across Northumberland, including Hexham, in a bid to make sure that fans can get their hands on them sooner.
Reader development librarian for Active Northumberland Michelle Watson said: “We’re delighted that LJ has donated copies of her novels. The series is very popular, so it’s fantastic to have some extra copies.”
