THE body of a man pulled from Whittle Dene Reservoir on Thursday has been identified.
Emergency services attended the reservoir, near Horsley, on Thursday morning, after a member of the public reported a damaged fence and vehicle debris.
Police said they recovered the body of a man from a vehicle at the scene.
A spokesman for the coroner said a report had been received from the police, and that the man's family was being informed of the death.
He said formal identification had taken place, and that a post mortem was expected to take place later this week.
