KEEP your fingers crossed for a fine day tomorrow for Humshaugh First School and pre-school summer fair.JUMPING ahead to Friday, July 18, the school will hold its leavers’ assembly at 9.15am. Later that day, weather permitting, it will be sports day.
The afternoon kicks off at 2pm at the school, with a variety of stalls and entertainment. There will be plenty for children and adults too, including an inter-school football tournament, an obstacle course, lucky dip, “welly hoying” and a fire engine.
Refreshments will be available and the grand raffle will be drawn at 4pm.
Donations for the cake stall will be gratefully received, today, if possible. Everyone is welcome.
School closes for the summer break on July 23.
