Church lych gates will be replaced

PRUDHOE Town Council has agreed to accept a quotation from a Dudley-based company for the replacement of the lych gates at St Mary Magdalene Church, on Kepwell Bank Top.
The Specialist Joinery Company could take on the work for £400, it was decided at the last council meeting.
This would be on the understanding that the new gates would be made from oak and reflect the original distinctive design.
