AN AUCTION to raise £2,500 for school computers takes place at Allendale First School tomorrow.
The event is being staged by the school's Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) with all proceeds going towards the hire of school laptops.
Lots include a Sunday lunch for two at the Allendale Tea Rooms, dog walking services, beauty treatments and locally reared lamb.
PTFA member Margaret Walter said: “We want to contribute to the hire of the laptops because if we don’t the money has to come out of the school budget and it is quite a large amount.”
The auction will take place at the school with viewing between 9am and 10am followed by the auction.
Refreshments will also be on sale and a raffle will be held.
