AFTER 12 months of fund-raising, members of the Inner Wheel Club of Hexham and Tynedale have presented a £1,000 cheque to Tynedale Hospice at Home.
Coffee mornings, a car boot sale and a number of street collections in Hexham raised the funds for the charity, which provides care and support to seriously ill patients and their families.
One of the largest voluntary service organistions in the world, Inner Wheel has members in 103 countries.
The Hexham and Tynedale branch is one of 32 clubs that meet between North Yorkshire and Berwick.
