A singer with Rue and the Rockets, a traditional rock and roll band along with her father and two uncles, she made a solo appearance at the carnival.
Her performance was one of the many highlights as crowds flocked to the Sele for the annual event.
She shared the stage at Hexham’s bandstand with a number of musical acts, with local groups The Bad Pennies and The Jokers warming up for Barely Human to bring another successful year to a close.
Glynis Bell, who organises Hexham Carnival with Joanna Jackson, said: “Everybody enjoyed themselves at the carnival, and that is what it’s all about. We always aim at putting on an event for families, where they can come for a relaxing afternoon.
“Stacey provided something different and everybody agreed she has a fantastic voice. It was fantastic to have new acts that have never played before, and there’s so much good local talent around.
“Joanna and I would like to thank all the people in Hexham and surrounding area for supporting us and making it such a great day.”
