STUDENTS from the People’s Republic of China were given a taste of the work of a solicitor, and advice on the qualifications needed for the career, when they paid a visit to Nicholson Portnell’s offices in Priestpopple, Hexham.
The youngsters, from Guangdong province, are studying for their A Levels at Austin Friars school in Carlisle.
Their hosts at Nicholson Portnell were solicitors Simon Jewitt and Helen Appleby.
