The date is Friday, February 19, and the usual supper will be included in your admission charge.
Slaley Commemoration hall is still offering free energy monitors.
If you would like one, please contact Michael at editor@slaley.org.uk or on (01434) 673443.
Clear and detailed instructions are included, but if you do have problems, please let us know!
On Monday, February 22, Slaley farmer Denis Lumley will talk on the history of local young farmers’ clubs, giving a humorous insight into the activities of these lively groups.
The accompanying exhibition will feature local YFC activities.
The meeting will be held in Slaley Commemoration hall from 7.30pm-9pm, with an admission cost of £2 per adult or 50p for anyone in full-time education.
On March 4, at 1.30pm, at St John’s Church in Healey, there will be the Women’s World Day of Prayer service.
The highlighted country this year will be Cuba, and the service is open to everyone from the area.
Finally, the volunteer for the medicine run next Thursday will be L. Norris.
