I HAVE been asked to thank quite a number of people who help make the village look as good as it does.

This includes the band of volunteers who mow and strim the churchyard and wildflower meadow, as well as Hollybush Nursery for planting up the Millenium baskets in front of the bungalows, along with the rota of people who water them. Thanks to all.

NEXT week’s medicine run volunteer is Debbie Wilson.
