STAFF at Hexham’s Virgin Money store are holding a family fun day in aid of Brain Tumour Research.

The event, at the Corstopitum Club in Corbridge, will honour the memory of 26-year-old Lee Wise, who died last year after he was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

The family fun-day will get under way at 2pm on Saturday, August 27, and will include a bouncy castle, face painting, raffle, tombola and cake stall.

A disco and live music have been planned for the evening, as well as a balloon release in memory of Lee.

All funds raised will go to Brain Tumour Research.
