MACMILLAN Cancer Support’s mobile service will be visiting Hexham next week.

Specialists will be on hand to answer questions and offer free, specialist information when the charity’s mobile information bus, Beryl, rolls into the town’s Wentworth car park on Tuesday.

The team on board is encouraging anyone with worries or concerns relating to cancer to stop by between 10am and 4pm, whether you are living with or beyond cancer, or are a carer or loved one of someone who is afected by the disease. An information stand will also be available at Hexham Auction Mart between 9.30am and 1.30pm on the same day.

“Whether you want to know what symptoms to look out for, need information about managing the side effects of your treatment, or want to find local support for carers, come along and see us,” said Gemma Young, promotions co-ordinator for the charity.
